About Us
Geodetic Analysis LLC is a woman-owned, Certified DBE small business based in New Mexico, USA. We are a geospatial services consulting company with over 30 years of experience providing research, data analysis, data visualization, strategic planning, training services and more.
History
Geodetic Analysis, LLC was founded by Michael L. Dennis, PhD, PE, RLS in 2006 to provide geodetic consulting and land surveying services. Dr. Dennis developed coordinate systems for Oregon, Kansas, Iowa, Pima County Arizona, and tribal areas in Montana. Although Dr. Dennis remains an active registered land surveyor (RLS) and civil engineer (PE) in Arizona, as of 2010, the company no longer provides land surveying services.*
In 2015, Jami Dennis, GISP, stepped into the business, expanding the GIS and data analytics offerings. Now the principal for Geodetic Analysis, LLC, she manages projects and provides consulting services to a wide variety of clients and partners.

Expertise
Jami Dennis is a certified GIS Professional (GISP) with over thirty years of experience in GIS, socio-economic research, demographic studies, data analysis, and data visualization. She has worked in both state and regional government in Arizona. She now works in private practice as a geospatial consultant and owner of Geodetic Analysis, LLC.
Jami received her Master’s of Natural Resources degree along with a Graduate Certificate in GIS from Oregon State University. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University. She serves on the Board of Directors for the GIS Certification Institute and is the co-founder of the Arizona chapter for Women In GIS. She is also an active volunteer for the Arizona Geographic Information Council, Women In GIS International, and the URISA Climate and Community Resilience Committee.
